Water features make great additions to any backyard as they create serenity, and a feeling of peace, as well as creating a brilliant focal point.
WATER FEATURES – The industry wide and generally accepted term describing any interior or exterior landscape or architectural element whose primary focus is water. There are literally dozens of styles, types and sizes of water features from small to large, simple or complex, formal and naturalistic, man-made or natural.
JVI has been professionally trained in water feature installation. Each year, we continue our education with new classes as new techniques, styles and procedures are developed in the water feature industry. You can never learn too much about something you love to do!

Types of Water Features
One of our biggest questions is, what is a PONDLESS waterfall? A beautiful natural looking waterfall, cascading pondless over natural rock and boulders, meandering down a small stream over natural gravel, making it’s final descent into a bed of ornamental gravel. In other words, instead of an pond at the end of the waterfall stream, the pump is actually buried under the gravel which is almost ground level, leaving no depth for an actual pond. Pondless water features are not suitable for fish.
JVI installs both pond and pondless water features. Our waterfeatures are natural in design. Whether you are wanting a small and simple water feature or pond or a large stream passing through your entire property, JVI guarantees a design that looks just like it was built by nature itself.
In spring and summer, we stock a wide variety of bog plants for your ponds and water gardens. Click here to tell us about your pond project.
